hi,
after updating mavericks to yosemite on a macbook(on a self installed ssd)
i wanted to enable trim on the ssd. Trim enabler has not yet been updated
so i used multibeast 7.0. I just enabled trim, then rebooted.
Since then, the mac hangs at the apple logo at boot, then switches to the
"prohibited sign" screen. I cant go passed this stage.
what did possibly go wrong and how can i fix it? I have no backup...
Please help,
thanks

Since you have a real Mac (on a side note I can't believe you guys use this software on them!!! there are 3rd party TRIM enablers available to you) you can use the built in Internet recovery to restore your OS. I *believe* it is non-destructive in that all your apps and settings will be intact. At least it'll get you back up and running.

Remember, if you end up in disk utility and are asked to partition your drive your data and files will be GONE.

Good luck,
