Hello all,
I am not sure I have succeed the installation though I have managed to boot into full mode. The image is verbose reading before the user login. From the image, I notice SMC:smcInitHelper ERROR: MMIO regMap, AppleCPUPowerManagement and IOPlatformPlugInUtil have unusual report.

Yes, I am so new and naive that I decided to build hackintosh without full understanding of DSDT and kext. oh well.. my audio is not working. I am looking for some advice. It seems like VoodooHDA 2.8.4 is not working installing from MultiBeast 6.3.1. My multiBeast was DSDT Free though I have selected so many that seemed appropriate. There was limited documentation on Sniper z97....Do any have tested DSDT for my motherboard, I am asking for advice.

I just want to know if I installed right and what I need to do for better performance. I am so new. seeking advices.

Thank you~

For novice user like myself, I found Kext Wizard felt very handy. After installing kexts, I go to Desk utility to repair boot disk. Currently, I fixed Audio and AppleCPUPower Management.
Here is my MutiBeast Formula for Gigabyte G1.SniperZ97.

Somewhat VooDooHDA failed to installed so I searched and downloaded the most recent one using kext wizard. Same thing happened to AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement.kext. It seems working fine.
I have not reboot it yet. A bit scare to do so. please let me know things I should be aware. So much learning curves.

Actually, I could use your help in enabling the audio on my system.

Where did you find the following drivers?

Drivers > Audio > Realtek ALCxxx > Intel 9 Series Motherboard Support

I am using multibeast 7.0.2 and I don't have it. I tried the other two audio drivers but they are not switching the audio on.

Thanks!

I don't know about this one but for my MB once I installed the audio kext in multibeast (in my case, ALC892) audio was still not working after reboot. Then I realized I just needed to go to system preferences -> sound and then manually select input and output devices... This was not necessary in pre 10.10 builds.

After that it worked like a charm :) You may want to try this.

Best,
