Problems with XFX AMD Radeon HD 7870 & 10.8.5

I'm getting the "0xdeadbeef in ati.c" error on startup when I attempt to use my graphics card as the primary graphics card. I can only boot in safe mode at the moment.

Here are my specs:
GA-Z87X-UD5H
Intel i7 4770k 3.5ghz
XFX AMD Radeon HD 7870 2GB Core Edition

7xxx cards are supposed to be supported, right?

Had the same problem here.

Just use GraphicsEnabler=No

Using GraphicsEnabler=No got me to the desktop, but there seems to be no hardware acceleration. I can't even play a YouTube video for no more than 5 seconds. Is there a fix for this or is AMD a dead end at this point?
