I installed this card in my hackintosh using the web drivers and could boot up fine using them. The problem that I have is that applications that use Cuda or OpenCL claim that my graphics card doesn't support them (The cards specs say it does). When I boot up in Windows 10 Cuda and OpenCL work just fine. Is there something that I need to do to make them work on the mac or is this a common problem for a hackintosh? If it is then why spend much money on a graphics card?

What apps? Premiere Pro works OOB for me (with a 970) but I think you need CUDA drivers
Problem solved. Creative Cloud apps that need OpenCl or CUDA find it just fine. There is only one app that I have that does't see them and it seems to be the fault of the app. I checked the forums at that apps web site and other people are complaining about it. Seems a little strange though. The same app running on windows see the card just fine and uses CUDA. The Mac version must be an after thought.
