Problems installing Mac AppStore App Updates Big Sur

I also would like to switch to OC, but I can't because of a reboot loop - ""No port micro restart (we don't support SMC on the platform)"

I use more or less the same board like you. Is it normal that it states the following during the first OC Boot?

1. MacOS Installer
2. Recovery

The option Recovery works for me, but if I choose 1) it gives me the error. I am wondering, why I don't see MacintoshHD or something else. Why it says, MacOS Installer?

I’ve had the same problem. Switching to OC resolved it, but it might be some other reasons and it was just a coincidence.

It might be coincidence or it might have been just my system? I installed OC and I still couldn't download anything from the App Store. Only after in-place upgrade worked.

Fresh Install with OpenCore 0.6.3 fixed my issue. See {SOLVED} - Z77X-UD5H - Big Sur - OpenCore 0.6.3

Thanks but it doesn't look like its the only problem. I might do the update again with the full installer.

Hi Clover Team, I've seen this issue on my machine and a lot of there people. It seems on Big Sur any machine running clover 5126 and Big Sur (doesn't seem to appear on OpenCore) will get this bug....
