Problems installing El Capitan on MSI GS60 ghost pro (Ethernet [Atheros2200]: link down on en0)

Hi there,
yesterday, when i tried to install OS X El Capitan on my msi gs60 laptop, i ran into some troubles.
It keeps rebooting at one certain point.
One important thing to note is during the booting, the keyboard blacklight kinda blinks.
Also, when i boot it with cookies disabled, or without injected kexts, it will stall at one certain point, and say someting concerning a USB interface, which it will keep repeating, in an infinite loop, untill i shut it down. (this USB thing is the text before the ethernet text)
Full specs:
  • Intel Core i7-4710HQ
  • GeForce GTX 970M
  • Intel Mobile HM87
  • 1x 128GB mSata Toshiba SSD
  • 1x 1TB Sata HDD
Could anyone help me with this problem?
thanks in advance!

Just wondering, did you ever get it to work correctly? I'm running into "Still waiting for root device" on mine since the USB3 ports aren't being detected (and we don't have any USB2 ports)

Nope not yet, tried installing os x Yosemite instead, with almost the exact same problems.

Yeah I can't use Yosemite since I have the Skylake model and only El Capitan has Skylake support.

Please provide complete details in your profile/signature
(Profile/Settings link in upper right corner of this site)

Mobo: manufacturer/model + bootloader(Clover/Chameleon/Chimera)
CPU: detailed CPU model + motherboard chipset
Graphics: all graphics devices + laptop internal screen resolution

For example, typical Ivy laptop:
Mobo: HP ProBook 4540s (Clover)
CPU: i5-3320m/HM76
Graphics: HD4000, 1366x768

Use CPU-Z on Windows to find CPU (Core iX-xxx) and motherboard chipset (HMxx), and graphics capabilities. For a laptop, these details are important and affect critical installation procedures.

Note: When specifying your bootloader, if using Clover legacy, please be sure to specify "Clover legacy"). Specifying "Clover" will be assumed as "Clover UEFI"
