Hey I have the same mobo, and researching on how to get everything working before my other parts come in. Did you use the setup_var command to disable CFG lock?

Disable CFG Lock is not absolutely necessary to install OS X either with Clover or Opencore. The important thing is making sure the Bios is updated to the latest version from the manufacture's website.

Hi. I used setup_var_3 command to bring up the offset which appears in the middle of the resulting text.

Hi, can anyone check my EFI Folder for my config please?

MB: Gigabyte Z370N Wifi
CPU: i3-8100
GRAPHICS: Intel Iris
RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX CL16 DDR4-2666 32 GB
SSD: Crucial 500GB P5 M.2
Wifi Card: Apple BCM94360CS2

Will it work with iMac 19,2 SMBIOS and Catalina?

Thanks in advance!

Do I absolutely need to upgrade the BIOS on my Z370N in order to install Catalina? I try not to touch that unless I have to. If so, which version is the latest recommended?
