Problem with display colors after Hulu/Dim Lights

hoping to find a Mac guru's help on this one -

After watching Hulu and using its "dim lights" feature, I mistakenly closed the browser without un-dimming the lights. Now I can't get my monitor colors back to normal (they are dimmed). A reboot gets me back to normal, but after sleep, all the colors are bad.

it seems that Hulu's Dim-Lights feature sets something deep in the operating system that does not get reset after a reboot.

any ideas?

Hulu's "dim the lights" feature only affects your browser, and only on their site. This shouldn't have anything to do with any monitor problems you are having.

figured out the fix - and you are right, it seems not to be directly related to hulu, although it was an awfully well-timed coincidence that all my screen colors became inverted at exactly this time -

System Preferences/Universal Access/Display/White on Black

changes colors back to normal.
