Ok well Ive decided to change it up...

Hows this system looking now? More compatible / OTB?

Corsair CX500 500W PSU
Intel Boxed Core i5 750 Processor
Kingston ValueRam 4GB DDR3 1333 x2
Coolermaster CM 690 Tower Case (Black)
Gigabyte H57M-USB3 Motherboard
Asus Nvidia Geforce GT430 1GB DDR3 Graphics Card

Any advice would be much appreciated :) Thank you!!

I'd recommend the batmobile Gigabyte ATI 5770

Awesome! Thank you!! I've decided to go for an ATI instead.

Does it matter what brand it is?
The one im looking at is a "Club 3D ATi Radeon HD 5670 1GB GDDR5 Graphics Card"

As I said - I would go with a 5770 - Gigabyte Batmobile. It needs to be dual slot and yes the model number matters as it will change the hardware IDs and might mean it's not supported in OSX. I'd go with a tried and tested card.

Also just checked and your motherboard is in the DSDT database.

I would like the 5770, they're just a bit difficult to find on my side of the world :/

Sweet, the Vapor X one I can get :) So with that and everything else listed, my build should work 100% OTB? Just a plain and clean install with iBoot etc?
You should be OK, but the PSU might be marginal, depending on how many HDs you plan on using. Try http://c1.neweggimages.com/BizIntell/to ... supply.jpg and enter your parts - notice the multiplier box on the right for how many of each item you list - and see what size the app recommends and go with it.
