When I installed Mavericks I believe I had to install with only 1 screen active and then when re-adding my primary monitor it would have a black screen for 3-6 minutes before turning on to appear the Login Screen. This is the same issue I am facing again after updating my BIOS to one that supports UEFI and also now moving to Clover.
I remember this possibly being related to having to set which GPU is initialised first in the BIOS however I remember bypassing the issue possibly by upping the integrated graphics memory. Not sure if anyone else has experienced this issue before, I know it's fixable for sure but I've since forgotten how I did it but it's definitely on this forum somewhere.
Thanks for your time, I'll be sure to note it down this time.
