Just upgraded to a 1060 from 660 - I feel the performance is a bit lacking (Civ VI and Xcom2 for example don't run all that well up to a point where I wouldn't notice that I even upgraded my GFX card if I didn't know I did) or maybe I was just waiting for too much .. does this result seem fine?

Sierra 10.12.6, nVidia web drivers 378.05.05.25f01

edit. added result of running in medium quality vs. the "extreme hd" preset, the result here is similar to one guy's result using the same settings on a 980ti on the previous page, guess the card is running just fine (I also realise civ 6 and xcom 2 performance problems might have more to do with my cpu and/or sluggish macOS ports of the games)

AFAIK, any game on mac doesn't run on Metal API(Which means OpenGL, old OpenGL) has terrible experience compared to Windows.

And it gets worse if the resolution set higher. My previous reference 970 on Windows@DX9 can even beat out currently using flagship 980ti on Mac@OpenGL on StarCraft 2. Changing to Metal API does help a lot but still sluggish here and there.

I think it does quite well, so I can forget about tweaking graphics drivers for now and fix the rest of the build :)
