Cheers for that, I made sure MacPro5,1 was my system definition and changed the vendor id in the info.plist.

re-ran unigine and this is what I got:

That looks about right for a 6870 at 1920x1200 as opposed to 1080p.

I made a custom MacPro5,1 definition with Chameleon Wizard rather than using the one in Multibeast.

After adding an HDMI with both DVI cables plugged in and switching to Duckweed 4 frames my performance is awesome!
