Post installation issues (dvd drive not working 
)
Hi all,
Today I got my i5-4440 with Gigabyte H81M-HD3 OS X 10.9.1 build running and its working great apart from a few issues:
- My slim slotloading dvd drive is not accepting disks under OS X. It works fine when in the bios environment. It does however show up in OS X under the eject button up top (it is greyed out).
- I cant seem to get iMessage working, it gives me some sort of sign in error. I found things on this forum about it but they are for older OS X versions....
- I found a tutorial on how to get iWorks 2013 running on my hackintosh, however it gives me an error about that the download isn't for my apple ID. What is the best way to acquire iWorks 2013 and iLife 2013 on my hackintosh (for free, as Apple gave the updates away for free)?
How can I fix all these issues?
