Hello!
My name is Andrea and write from Italy.
This is my first Hackintoshing.
And Naturally I've headdache and a lot of problem with this.

First I want to thanksgiving this wonderfull forum and the people here!

For my project I follow the shopping list like the Customac Project:

-Intel Core i7-2600K
-Gigabyte GA-Z68XP-UD3 ver 1.0 F6
-Gigabyte AMD Radeon HD 6870 gv-r6870c-1gd
-60GB OCZ Nocti Series SATA 3Gb/s
-16GB Corsair 1600Mhz DDR3 CMZ16GX3M4A1600C9B
-Corsair 650watt power supply

For installation I plug only one memory bench, only usb keyboard and mouse, and the videocard.
I use UNIBEAST-MULTIBEAST USB STICK method.
After some attemps, I finally managed to have LION worked with some function like audio (mobo integrated) and lan.

But I can't boot from drive directly,
I necessary boot from usb and only typing GraphicsEnabler=No.

Multibeast flag only on to userdsdt install.
After that Updating with the Ati graphics Update 10-6-7 but after reset the system, fan on the graphics card don't move ( and never before too) and system information show only

ATI RADEON HD 6XXX
ID =x6738
Vendor ati (0x1002)

In the finder I can't see the Lion Partition.

Thanks In advance for Your Help and apologize me: I'm newest in kernel-cache-kext world
so please think to me like a baby...

Please Help me

I've downloaded the ATI Graphics Update 10-6-7.pkg from mediafire and then extract and patched in Lion.

I do this because I can't see the card in the sytem profiler.
The graphic card fan doesn't work even if the card is correctly plug-in and the monitor work perfectly (of course with graphicsEnabler=No).

I plug in the card before patched the ati update.

Thanks to answer to me so quickly!!!

Please, can anyone help me showing the multibeast flags configuration?

I can't understand were I mistake and why I can't boot correctly from hard drive....

As i wrote above...no Driver updates are neccessary. I would replace the installed Drivers with the Original Lion Drivers. Rebuild kextcaches and repair permissions. Then edit your boot.plist and remove the GraphicsEnabler Section. After that you can reboot and try this at the Chimera Bootscreen. (make sure the latest Version of Chimera is installed)

AtiConfig=YOURFRAMEBUFFER AtiPorts=4 GraphicsEnabler=Yes

Note: Replace YOURFRAMEBUFFER with the Framebuffer of your GFX Card.
If it works, add the Strings to your boot.plist like this

  • <key>GraphicsEnabler</key>
    <string>Yes</string>
    <key>Kernel</key>
    <string>mach_kernel</string>
    <key>Kernel Flags</key>
    <string>AtiConfig=YOURFRAMEBUFFER AtiPorts=4 darkwake=0</string>

Ok!
-I will format again the Lion partition so I will start clean.
-Next I will upgrading only with the dsdt for my MOBO and Bios version.
Only with This and Not flag other.

But like my inesperting knowledge, can You show me the graphics enabler section in boot plist?
What I must remove.
And so... (sorry I'm a fucXXed newbie) where I can find my FRAMEBUFFER?

Thanks :)

After a fresh installation you only have to do this. Make sure the downloaded DSDT is placed on your DesktopBildschirmfoto 2011-12-25 um 15.37.25.png
After a reboot you can edit your boot.plist in /Extra and add this

<key>Kernel Flags</key>
<string>AtiConfig=Duckweed AtiPorts=4 darkwake=0</string>

Graphics Enabler = yes should be already in there

I've made all this things, but when I try to boot from the hard disk, the same things happen:

system crash down (I don't see chimera boot screen) and monitor automatic shut down and enter in safe mode.

And incredible, the fan on GPX card don't move.... BUt The monitor works plugged into it when I Use USB pen to boot...
And the system apparently is very stable!

Sorry but I don't understanding...

You speak on the ssd drive? Is the 60GB OCZ Nocti Series SATA 3Gb/s

Or speaking about the bios?

Remember... I'm a newbie...
Take patience with me

Thanks in advance!!
