Possible to run off onboard graphics temporarily?

So I want to build a new Hackintosh but at the moment money is pretty tight, so what I wanted to know is, is it possible to run off onboard graphics if I have a Haswell i5-4670K Processor? And then add a video card later, and still have it function without having to format everything over?

Yes it works just fine. Enable your onboard graphics in UEFI/Bios and use a DVI-D or HDMI cable for signal.

Alright thanks! Also, for a Hackintosh is it worth it going from the i5-4670 to the i7-4770? I don't want the unlocked one, cause I don't do much overclocking so it's all good.

Never mind, someone just answered that for me..
