Possible to install El Capitan on GA-Z170-UD5?

staticBluetoothTransportShowUp error on GA-Z170-UD5?

I see a lot of success in GA-Z170-UD5-TH and GA-Z170-UD5-GAMING etc. But mine is UD5 without TH. I tried the unibeast install and had a lot of panics/reboot/stuck and errors. Basically it can only install by forcing -x; after the first reboot from installer, it get stuck. In -v mode, I can see how it tries to unmount a hdf disk and failed so reboots. very strange behavior.
Without -x, the system can not see the installer. It will throw a CPU[4] panic after having some bluetooth issues. "staticBluetoothTransportShowUp". I can not see anyone else having this issue. (see attached)



Basically i tried everything I can and PLUS, no one is posting success stories using this MOBO. So, can we conclude that it is impossible using GA-Z170-UD5?

I have good news for you, I have a Z170X-UD5 and have El Capitan installed working fine. Since It's been a while I'll just link you to a post that goes into more detail than I can remember. Suffice it to say that it does work. My only complaint is that I can't get sleep working perfectly. Perhaps you can solve that.

At the time I don't think I used Unibeast but both should work.
