I have been using my hackintosh in mac OS sierra on legacy mode for a long time without any issues. Suddenly, I can't boot into clover anymore and i get the boot0af error. Is there a way I can fix this problem without having to re-format my Mac drive? I don't know if this is a factor but I use the HFS explorer to extract files from my MAC drive on windows.

Boot OS X from a USB rescue drive. Re-install Clover.

Tried that. It cannot detect the mac drive on clover nor on disk utility. It turns out that the partition is corrupt. On windows, the drive is appears to be unallocated. I cannot access it at all. I am trying to use TestDisk to recover it.

It worked. Testdisk is an excellent software.
