i am new but i like mac os
i installed mac os x 10.6.3
no sound no wi fi
after i updated to 10.6.6
no wi fi,no sounds ,no keyboard,no touchpad
please help me how to enable wi fi and audio ..

Therefore i wrote "read the whole thread". The methode i described later in that thread with my Acer Aspire 5741 wasn't method
I just use another Boot CD, because iBoot don't working on that Laptop.

That depends on your Hardware. The Aspire have different Hardware assembled. One have for wifi the broadcom chip assembled while the other modell have a Atheros chipset. If your's have a BCM (Broadcom) there's no way to make it work at the moment. One have Bluetooth, the other hasn't. One have ATI, the other have a nVidia. Best way is you try to find out which hardware you exactly use and i suggest you read the whole Thread. In the 1st post from 2stroke you can download a modifyed VoodooHDA.kext and for your audio and the VoodooPrefPane...it works in 32/64bit

Mine had worked fine until i wiped OSX from that Laptop and installing win7 on it to gave it to my youngest daughter.
