My Hackintosh is stuck at the bootup (apple) screen. Ran verbose and last line is 85/42 split.

This thread says to enable the xhci. How do I access the bios page to do this? I’m a total noob.. anyone has any idea how I can fix this? Your help is appreciated so much. This is driving me crazy.. Thank you so much.

The first thing to consult is your motherboard manual and read the section on BIOS setup. I can't be more specific without knowing the vendor and model.

I downloaded the manual for your motherboard but the BIOS section doesn't provide any detail on the settings at all. So that's not going to help us unfortunately.

You'll need to do the following. Power on your system and press the Delete key to access the BIOS setup when you see the MSI splash screen. Then you'll need to look carefully through the peripherals section for the xhci handoff setting and enable it.

You can post screenshots for others reference if you have questions.

Post a copy of your EFI folder so we can see what you are using to boot your system.

Redact/delete the Serial Number, MLB, ROM etc. from your config.plist.

Confirm which version of macOS you are installing.
Confirm which version of Clover or OpenCore you are using.

Ensure you have the correct Bios settings implemented for running macOS.

Change the following settings:
  1. Virtualisation : Enabled
  2. VT-d : Disabled
  3. XHCI Hand-Off : Enabled
  4. Legacy USB Support: Auto/Enabled
  5. IO/Serial Port : Disabled
  6. Network Stack : Disabled
  7. XMP Profile : Auto / Profile 1/Enabled
  8. UEFI Booting set to Enabled and set Priority over Legacy
  9. Secure Boot : Disabled
  10. Fast Boot : Disabled
  11. OS Type: Other OS
  12. Wake on LAN : Disabled
Dedicated Graphics + Integrated graphics card:
  1. Integrated Graphics : Enabled
  2. Graphics: PEG/PCIe Slot 1
  3. Initial Display Output : PCIe 1 Slot
  4. DVMT Pre-Allocated : 128M or higher
