Hi,
Been at this a few days unfortunately. Yet to be first time Macos user. Running a Pentium G4400, Gigabyte H270-HD3-CF, 240gb nvme and 8gb ddr4 2400mhz. No graphics card using onboard Intel hd 510.
Attempting to install 12.5.
Have tried multiple guides, cannot get the opencore bootloader to run at all gets stuck on gigabyte screen.
Clover bootloader boots instantly.
Editing the EFI partition via Linux due to permission problems on windows.
No Mac unfortunately to use multibeast etc.
Set my bios settings same as this video
Research on this forum states I need to Fakecpuid as unsupported CPU. Have tried direct edit in config.plist.
Incorrect way to Fakecpuid according to thread above. Have also added kexts in correct folder on EFI partition.
Noticed from posts on here people only install high Sierra with this old chipset and CPU.
When I boot clover and proceed to install the installer restarts after awhile unable to start the GUI Mac installer.
Have unplugged all windows drives and only have the nvme 240gb attached not formatted....unallocated space.
Am I using to new of a MacOS?
There is perfect tutorials all over the internet but require editing clover in MacOS.
Unfortunately this is not an option for me.
Only have access to windows and Linux based systems.
A little help in the right direction would be appreciated!
Thanks in advance

Hackintosh on Asus z270f with Pentium G4400?
Hello there I'm so used to macOS on my MacBook Pro and I'd like to install hackintosh on my PC. Two problems: One: I have a Pentium G4400 CPU on my Asus z270f and I don't want to upgrade it. Two: I have three SSDs. A new empty M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD which I'd like to install hackintosh on. I'm...
