Please Help!!
i just recently set up my new hack pro but I can not get the ethernet to work. Ive tried everything I could find to get it working. I will answer any questions that anybody has about my setup or trials so far.
When i open finder, i can not left click on "network" but when i right click on it and select "open" it says
The alias "Network" can't be opened because the original item cant be found.
I am running ML 10.8.4
My components:
Gigabyte Ga-x79s-up5-wifi x79
Intel i7 3930k
Corsair Vengeance 32gb LP 1600mhz
EVGA Nvidia Geforce Gtx 670 4gb
Samsung 840 Series 120gb and 250 gb sdd in raid0
Corsair Hydro H80i
Corsair HX 1050 watt
Everything else besides the ethernet works.
i have also disabled the real tech lan in bios (someone suggested this to me) and then i have installed the "intel hnak" network driver in multi beast.
as far as what i have read it should be working....
i have also unplugged completely and let sit for a couple minutes and plugged back in (i read somewhere else that might work).... no luck.
:
thanks for taking the time to read and help out!
