I used migration assistant, everything worked - then I rebooted.... I got an immediate KP, I guess (as I have read) Migration Assistant nukes the boot. Could not recover from this error for some reason, tried deleted and rebuilding kext cache - nope. So had to reinstall
Do you know how to exclude system files that may cause problems - like FakeSMC.kext? Or a way to migrate my file/settings over and still have a bootable system? Is Carbon Copy Cloner better? Just need Applications/User files/Preferences/License file, etc. to get a working install with working apps, etc.
