My system is running OSX 10.6.6.(dual boot.2nd HDD is for Windows 7)
To install OSX I used Iboot+Multibeast and own DSDT.Nothing else.
System is running great.Feels fast (except mouse, still can't get it run smoothly) and everything works as it should.
Last weekend I manage to get me a original copy of Call of Duty 2 MAC version (this is a game I still play on my Windows system with a couple of friends)
After stating the game, I notice that the game runs on a lower frame rate then on my Windows. OSX 90 FPS, Windows 170 FPS.
Graphics I use is: Gigabyte HD5870.
My question is: Is there a way to improve the framerates on my OSX or is this something I need to live with??
Game is configurated on his max , same as when I use Windows 7.
Monitor resolution: 1920x1080
Other system specs are:
Gigabyte GA-P35-DS4
Intel E8400
4GB DDR2
250gb SATA HDD (OSX)
250gb SATA HDD (win7)
DVD-RW SATA
