Pentium G3220 + 8gb 1333mhz vs i3-4130 + 4gb 1333

Hi guys I would like to ask if which one is better in any aspect?

intel Pentium G3220 + 8gb 1333mhz Kingston vs intel i3-4130 + 4gb 1333 Kingston

which one would be faster?

I already got Intel Pentium G3220+Gigabyte GA-H81M-DS2+Kingston 4GB 1333mhz+Gainward GT430 1GB 128bit ddr3 and its quite relatively fast (Decent) in my experience. but sometimes when I'm using chrome in multiple tabs like 20 to 30 tabs, I experience a downspeed but that slow. but when I open another programs like itunes I experience a great downspeed in the performance for about 30-40%

So I wanna upgrade a lil bit, but don't know which one is better if should I add more ram or have a new Processor?

and by the way, which one is better to use if I ever move on to i3?

Gainward GT430 1GB 128bit ddr3

Interesting I was not aware of anyone successfully running a G3220 or similar processor. I have seen a few try, but not having any luck. What I would suggest is running 30 tabs, opening up iTunes and use it as you normally would. Open Activity Monitor and switch between 'CPU' and 'memory'. I think that you might see greater pressure on your memory than the CPU.

I think that the best upgrade path would be to double your RAM in the short term, but look at moving to one of the i3 processors over the next few months as well.
The GT440 with DDR5 memory is listed a little bit above Intel HD4000 here:http://www.tonymacx86.com/graphics/...-right-now-hierarchy-chart-toms-hardware.html

I suspect it will be quite a bit quicker than a GT430 with DDR3, this makes me think that although HD4400 should be better than your existing card, remember that the video card is not using any additional RAM resources which using the onboard would do.

As a follow up, the HD4400 graphics has been bothering me until I looked a little closer. I do not believe that they are supported at this time. That may change in time, but right now if you were to consider changing to an i3 processor, then look into the price difference with an i3-4330 with supported HD4600 graphics.

EDIT: GA-H81M-DS2 does not have either a DVI-D or HDMI port to support HD4600 graphics. You will need to keep the GT430 a little longer.

Rockion can you provide details as to how you were able to get your G3220 CPU working with an install and what version of OS X you were running?

I am trying to get a MV install running with that cpu and cannot even get to the installer screen. It just hangs at the white screen with the apple logo.

Rockion, can u please tell me how u installed it... I cant even get to the install screen..just get instant reboots!!!!

hd 4400 but have a msi r7 240 card (yes i tried both...)
the farthest t i could get was with a deestro i.e. niiresh but system hangs at the missing bluetooth controller transport error....
any help is greatly appreciated.....


EDIT: FOUND A SOLUTION BUT FOR NOW CANT BOOT WIHTOUT SAFE MODE BUT HERE IT IS:
