Patching your DSDT ProBook 4x30s using MaciASL

Again only .ds_store in the github? If I click on Patch it doesn't do anything. Only loaded the dsdt which I extracted from ubuntu.

Allright, let me explain it. I've extracted the DSDT with the ubuntu live cd. When I open MaciASL I've selected ACPI 5 and removed the default source and added yours. Now when I click on Patch it doesn't do anything.

When I go through safari to your repo I can only see a .ds_store file. Maybe that is the problem that patch doesn't work?

Sounds like you are having an internet connectivity issue or github is down in your area. And/or you have a problem with Safari. All of it is working fine here (in Western Canada, using Chrome).

Hmm, my internet is working fine. Chrome and Safari give the same .ds_store file when I open:

http://raw.github.com/RehabMan/HP-ProBook-4x30s-DSDT-Patch/master. Even with webproxy's. What does the patch button do?​

Of course it does. That is the 'raw' link -- not intended for web browsers, but instead intended for MaciASL (it actually looks at http://raw.github.com/RehabMan/HP-ProBook-4x30s-DSDT-Patch/master/.maciasl). If you want to look at the repo with a web browser, use http://github.com/RehabMan/HP-ProBook-4x30s-DSDT-Patch.

Take a screen shot of your MaciASL -> Preferences -> Sources (expand the window so the whole URL that you've entered can be seen).

Patch brings up a dialog like this:

I don't know if it will make a difference, but have you tried using http: (not https per the instructions?

Jeah tried that to. Did not work

Do you know how I can reset the program to defaults? (Remove config files)
