Does anybody have an idea what could be the problem or expierience with hdd-trays in Catalina?

EDIT: The problem might be in the BIOS already. The drives in the slot is not shown in BIOS, but it mounts. SATA6 is always shown empty.

I tested hot plugging a little and couldn't get it to work right.

Sorry, i had done a little searching and found the patch info, and posted it. Then actually read the DE forum link, which also had the info. Sorry my mistake lol. Good luck

OK, so its not just me. What a pitty, I think it would be really useful. Maybe the problem is within the BIOS, what do you think?

Did you get it to work with your motherboard?

No, I don't think it's BIOS... I think it's just that macOS was never designed with hot plugging in mind.
