I would like to know if any combination of the parts I buy from your "buyers guide" to build a hackintosh can dual boot Windows 8.1 and Yosemite. Are there specific parts that work best? Or can I make any combination and have it work? Let me know.

Yes any combination of buyers list will work with 8.1 and u can dual boot

A system drive is where you put the OS and various apps/programs. Storage is for just what it
says, storing files like photos videos etc. Trying to boot from one of the storage drives can
create Boot0 error problems.
