P7P55 reboot problem...

Hi to all,

I have a Asus P7P55-LX working since near a year. I always had this problem, when I reboot I have a message like Overcloking failed, and I have a kernel panic. It can take uo to 20 times before is boot. After all is working, even the sleep and wake. Someone have a fix for this issue ?

How did you install? DSDT? 10.7.x? What drivers/kexts did you install? The more info, the easier to sort out.

One good way to isolate the problem is to start up and stop at the Chimera screen, then type -v for verbose mode, then watch the startup sequence, when it freezes, you might get some clues on what kext or driver is not loading correctly or causing a conflict. Also note any kexts that take a long time to load, they might also be causing issues.

Something else you might check out is if your Bios is current. Same thing was happening to me on my asus p755d pro updated the firmware and boom gone.
