I have this MB and have a working Catalina system, however I'm trying to fix a few things.
1. The fans runs steadily and loudly compared to my previous Yosemite system. It seems like it is coming from the BIOS, as they start early and don't slow back down (typically CPU: 1,000 rpm, Case: 300 rpm), but I haven't been able to fix this.
2. I have a Samsung 850 Pro SSD, and running Mojave and Catalina off of that, I get random freezes. I'm running Catalina of a partition on a larger (non-SSD) and have not had freezes yet in a few hours (fingers crossed). I already updated the firmware on the SSD, as I read that can be a source of freezes.
Any information you can share related to those possible items, for this MB would be great.
