p55m-ud4 and CPU Cooler Heatsinks

Can anyone tell me what heatsinks will not fit on the p55m-ud4
other then getting a Cooler that is not to tall so that it will fit in the case
is it pretty much open season?

I will be running a i7 860 CPU

Big baby fits, but if you whant to be sure, why not look the mainboard compatibility list on the cpu cooler's brand ?
 
my ram is tall i dont think the mugen 2 will clear it

Which RAM do you use ?

You will probably be able to install it, but might need to displace the Mugen-2 fan upwards, or use it in a pull config (with the fan in the back instead of over the RAM).

Oh boy, those are tall indeed...
I guess you'll have to use it in pull config, or rotate it 90 degrees, and have it pull towards the top of the case...
Alternatively, you might need to use the Noctua NH-D14.
Pricey, but IMO, the best money can buy.

weird ive read several reviews on the H50
most were very good reviews..

i checked out the audio recordings and i could barelly hear anything.
and looking at the review .. its not silent but it is very quiet.. im not aiming for a
silent pc.. but I dont think it will be loud
 
ive installed the H50 and I cant hear it at all.. probably the quietest CPU Cooler i have ever used.
