Same problem on my Hack.

Do you use on-board Realtek by any chance, too? Lynx Realtek driver is supposed to take care of that, but I haven't had any chance to test that, yet.

05.08.11 16:49:11,000 kernel: NTFS volume name USB-3, version 3.1.
...

after a while ...

05.08.11 16:59:08,036 com.apple.kextcache: Created prelinked kernel /System/Library/Caches/com.apple.kext.caches/Startup/kernelcache.
05.08.11 17:02:28,960 Finder: copyPrimaryAirPortInterface::ACInterfaceDeviceNameCopy returned NULL

05.08.11 17:02:29,581 Finder: _CSIsWirelessP2PEnabled::copyPrimaryAirPortInterface failed

This are the last entries, afterwords, the system crashed down ... I had three days ago the same problem with Snow Leopard, so I decided to update to 10.7 .... and the problem still appears ...

What I think is, I don't have any wireless LAN .... its a bag full of pain in any network!

I'm I right in the assumption, that the AirPort brings my network down?

How can I shut it completely down fast and painless?

Thanks a lot!!

Max.

Open AirPort Utility. Find out on Launchpad/Utilies or Applications/Utilities or simply with Spotlight

Once opened open Airport/Preferences uncheck all boxes. This will add a Airdrop folder in Finder. Check the picture. No longer receive this error and no cpu/ram consumption by airport.
