Hi

I have 2 laptops i'm trying to set up with SL and/or Lion. Both have Intel Wifi modules, and as far as i can see this is a no go.

Any suggestions for "n" mini-PCI modules to buy that is working perfectly?

I came across such wifi card before, works on both windows and mac, but i forgotten the name. When i find it again, i will post back

Found it -
ar5B91 - works on hackintosh with kexts
ar5B93 works oob
also DW1390 works oob too

The first two made by atheros, the latter made by broadcom

hope it helps

Found a tutorial which might be more helpful -

I read some where that the AR5B93 only works with SL, but not with Lion. can someone confir,?

The boardcom wifi modules seems to be most stable. so if you are replacing it, i would go for the boardcom one, also check out the last link to the airport native wifi, the 1st boardcom one only support b/g whilst the latter link supports b/g/n technology.
