OSX Build for Video Editing / Premiere+Dual Socket+firewire

Hi all,

I basically want to set up a system for video editing that would work on Windows and OSX, I know, a tall order!

Preferably, I would like a Dual Socket motherboard, run Adobe Premiere Pro (Windows/OSX), and have a Firewire port.

Any other success stories? Or would a fast single socket cpu be less hassle?

Hello, I have the setup you are referring to; however, i'm still running a single quad core LGA 775 Intel Q6600. Theoretically, i think you can do a dual cpu Hackintosh. But, I don't know if Multibeast can id two cpu's. I suggest you ask MacMan or Tony themselves for clarification on a dual cpu setup. I'm sure you are aware that the higher end Mac Pro's have dual cpu setup.
I say, give it a try just to see.
