You could try injecting EDID... and try other ig-platform-id values.

I changed the ig-platform-id to 01660009 and it works !!!!! I am installing os x as I type. Also I was wondering why does the installer loook different ? And best of all no lag will post after installation is finished

My Yosemite installer is saying Preparing to install. Your computer will restart automatically.


and is at about a second left for a long time (I have used the createinstallmedia method to make my usb )

It is fine now. I have rebooted and it is now at 15 mins left

It is one of the ig-platform-id values mentioned in the guide.

Yes, as described in the guide, that stage takes a while.
