OS X on ASUS P8P67 Rev 3.1

Hi!

I'm new to this forum and a Mac noob xD.
I installed Mac OS X succesfully in a virtual machine so I decided to try to install it on my PC

The Question is if Mac OS X will run on my setup:
CPU: Intel i5 2500k
MB: ASUS P8P67 Rev 3.1
GC: ATi HD5770
RAM: 2x4GB GEiL @ 1333 MHz
Sound: ASUS Xonar DS

Does anyone have some of theese components and can confirm that OS X is running on their setup.

Hello, my config is:

RAM: 4x4GB GEiL @ 1600 MHz

and everything is fine with 10.7.3.
I did a fresh install with Unibeast from 10.7, then comboupdate 10.7.3 and run Multibeast selecting the right .kext

In poor words, just follow the Unibeast guide ;-)

I saw you have an ASUS P8P67 Rev 3.1. Which DSDT have you use ? Or which .kext ?

I've used no DSDT, just multi beast 4.5.2 with following selections:
- Easybeast
- Driver>Kexts>Audio:
ALC8xxHDA
Non-DSDT HDAEnabler: ALC892
Patched AppleHDA: ALC892
- Disk:
3rdParty SATA
3rdParty eSATA
- Miscellaneous:
ElliottForceLegacyRTC
EvOreboot
FakeSMC
USB 3.0 - NEC/Renesas
AppleRTC Patch for CMOS
- Network:
Realtek Gigabit

My Lion works very fine, except standby mode.

Thanks. I'll try your config. Because, I got a panic kernel it seem to come from the version of my BIOS. But I can see it works for you. I hope it will work like you this time...

Edit : I update to 10.7.4. All works fine. I got some freezes some time. Did you have same problems ?

I just also have the intel i5 2500k and the asus p8p67 rev 3.1 with the newest bios and I can't even get to the installation screen. Can you please tell me which bios version you are using?
