Your audio problem is not a AppleHDA.kext problem. I don't know why it doesn't work. Your solutions are no audio, Nvidia HDMI audio, USB audio or a replacement previous working BIOS chip. It appears, the Asus 3K BIOS disables OS X audio on some systems.
