The issue was BIOS. I did not have all the correct settings. Just because your BIOS settings work in Clover does not mean they will work in Opencore.

Hello

I am trying to install Big Sur. I am having issues getting OpenCore to boot. I have a running Catalina using Clover. The issue is most likely my OpenCore setup (I've never used OpenCore before).

Attached are the logs and a screenshot of my folders as well as my config.plist. Any help you be greatly appreciated.

Run your config.plist through the Sanity Checker, you have several errors.

I also had to clear NVRAM prior to booting OpenCore to clear out entries put in by Clover that OpenCore will not delete.

Thanks for the reply. I had no idea that Sanity Checker existed! Very useful.

I corrected the errors.. Same problem though..

I made sure to clear the nvram before booting.

Also, stupid question, but to just make sure I haven't made a mistake here is the Intel processor I am using:

sysctl -a | grep machdep.cpu.brand_string
machdep.cpu.brand_string: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6700K CPU @ 4.00GHz

This is Skylake correct ?

Did you make your own files or use premade?

Perhaps a screen shot of the error point (assume you are using OpenCore Debug).
