I put a display port cable from my Gigabyte Radeon HD 6850 to my Dell U2412M monitor, and it sometimes blinks quickly and in some cases a thin white line appears, althought are really thin.

With the DVI-D it works perfectly. Why does it happen? Does anybody know how to solve it? I think it might be a problem with the cable, it is a cheap cable...but who knows.

Hello!

I'm having the same problem.
I have two dell monitors connected to a gtx 770 4gb.
One monitor is connected to the hdmi.
the other one is connected to the displayport.

When I have just the hdmi monitor connected, I don't have the short blinks.
the blinks stay for about half second, but they happen on booth monitors.
I didn't have the white lines issue.

Does anyone knows about this?
thanks in advance.
