NVIDIA Releases Alternate Graphics Drivers for 10.10.0 (343.01.01f01) with 'Maxwell' GeForce GTX 970 and 980 Support

Guys

anyone got the 750 ti working with HDMI/DVI-D????

I have the 2 hdmi gigabyte one , and would like two monitors (1 over DVI-I to VGA and the other HDMI to HDMI or DVI-D to HDMI)

Not-so-patiently waiting for a solution as well.

It seems the 343.01.01f03 solved the power issues for me using iMac14,2. :)

Hi there!

I have an Asus GTX 750 ti and I use clover to boot on osX 10.10. I tried with the VGA port but nothing... With Chameleon the VGA port is working but I prefer Clover. Any idea?
In any case, the fan's card is turning at full speed (HWMonitor say 15 000rpm with 25°c) any idea?

kernel flags : nvda_drv=1 kext-dev-mode=1 -v -f

Thx !

I'm having issues. Install Yosemite last night on igpu, did the web drivers and the card worked on the first boot up fine. It wouldn't boot after that without -x until finally it just wouldn't boot at all with a memory allocation error. Wiped the drive and redid installation. Installed Yosemite without card installed, put it in to do we drivers and I get a GeForceSensors (pci1): [fatal] unknown chip set, 0x12402a1 And that is with nv_disable=1

update: well, something weird went on, apparently the nv_disable=1 I added was overwritten with the kext-dev-mode=1 and nada_drv=1. I manually put in nv_disable=1 at the boot screen and everything works fine now. It's been rebooted 3 times and seems fine, hopefully it continues.

Do not install 343.01.01f03 if 02 works for you.

On my EVGA GTX 770 2GB it caused:
1. Weird graphics lag. If FPS is above 60 it works fine. But if FPS goes below 60 graphics slows down for a fraction of second and then catches up. Walking in games feels like character moves smoothly but is constantly changing tempo. It is not typical FPS drop feeling. Disabling V-sync helps a bit. It is barely noticeable but very annoying.
2. Screen flick. When I turn on monitor it works. And after few seconds goes black and turns on again - just like if there is another display connected and OS X tries to detect them. After that it works fine.

I wonder if you are having an issue with vsync trying to match frames. When I play steam games like portal or left 4 dead 2, I get a stutter feeling to my walking cause it is jumping from 60 to 30 back to 60. It feels like your guys is walking with a limp. Check your frames and perhaps that is what is happening. It is possible that you get less frames with the new driver and it is now dipping below 60 which may be the cause.

I also have the problem of the fans turning at full speed when I use the Web driver. The only solution I found is going back to the stock driver from Apple. After all, the driver provided in 10.10 is able to correctly lower the clock when idle, I have no real reason to use the Web driver.
You may try the stock driver too, after all is still from Nvidia, it's just a bit older.

I use Chimera and kext-dev-mode=1
