I've searched high and low and I've found plenty of threads on getting this card to work under lion, but they are either incredibly vague or they haven't worked for me.

Right now, here's where I'm stuck. Mac is recognizing my card - model, ram, and everything, however I have no QE/CI working and I'm stuck at 1024x768 screen resolution.
EDIT:
So, I'm stuck without QE/CI and full resolution because of NVDAGF100Hal.kext. Occasionally when I've edited it and re-installed it, it doesn't install correctly. When it does install correctly, however, the computer hangs on boot at "DSMOS has arrived."

The card:
EVGA GTX 460 SE

Any help is appreciated, and as soon as I get everything working, I'll edit this original post with my steps.

Also stuck with no QE/CI and 1024x768, anyone know of a fix?

Update: reinstalling the official 251 or whatever version of driver from Nvidia again seems to make it work... I get full res. but then it kinda freezes with the spinning wheel off and on with no desktop, a cursor and a grey background. Booting with -x works fine though.

Might try running Multibeast and repairing permissions and cache, and possibly booting with -f to force cache rebuild.

it has worked for some people

I re-wiped and made sure NVEnabler wasn't selected during install and all is well... 460SE working great out of the box.

Ah ok.. mark the topic solved. NVEnabler was old solution on some cards.
