Hi!
I will buy a laptop with the purpose of install mavericks. I haven't found much information of this GPU. Can I use nvidia 740m and similar with hackintosh? If not, It will work?
To spend in a GPU that I will not use I prefer buy an intel i7 with good integrated GPU.
Thanks!

It depends on whether it is dedicated or switched. If it is switched (Optimus) then it won't work... you'll use intel integrated only.

Sorry... I have already read your post and not the part of the GPU. So, can I know if the laptop have dedicated GPU or only with the experience of users?

I'm don't understand the question. "only with the experience of users?"???

The performance of 700m is good and work natively?

I don't know. You'd have to do some research there... I have no first hand experience with the dedicated graphics on laptops. There is always some work to make them actually work (DSDT, framebuffer edits, etc.), specially on a laptop.

I mean if I can know if the laptop has dedicate GPU with the specs of the laptop or only with the posts that install mac on the same laptop and guides.
I'm not native English sorry.

It depends on how accurate the published specs are. You can't believe everything you read. If you have a chance to inspect the laptop, then look in Device Manager in Windows. If you have both Intel integrated and nvidia, then the nvidia is NOT dedicated. If you see only nvidia, then it is dedicated or at least can be configured that way through BIOS. Most discrete graphics in laptops are switched as it greatly enhances battery life to run on Intel integrated except when the discrete card is necessary.

Ok. So I have to ask the manufracturer if I can disable intel's Graphics in BIOS before buying the laptop.
First I have to find experiences with 700m because all people said that they disable dedicate graphic and works good but not backwards.

It would be very strange because apple use 700m in macbook pro.

Apple uses different switching tech (dedicated GMUX device) than is used on PCs.

Yes but if 700m works in macbook altought it use a different switching, the laptop 700m working alone with integrate graphics disabled should work to.
I don't know if search a laptop without dedicate graphics or wait until early 2014 when I will need it.
This 700m problem will be solved or is hard?

As previously stated, nvidia will not work if it is switched because of the different tech used for switching in PCs vs. Macs.

I don't see the "switched graphics problem" being solved any time soon, if ever.
