Hi good day.

A few days ago i purchased this graphic card:

The nvidia Geforce GTS450. I have a Nvidia Geforce 8400GS, and works ok, but i needed a little more power mostly because im making clips on after effects and stuff.

Right now my OS X Version its 10.6.4 and works ok. i just found this post:

And im so confused. Everytime i search about the GTS450 i just found problems and problems. So the bottom line is: This card its not supported right now? :O

thank you!

Ok... so... i took the risk (after backup everything OF COURSE). And well.. i dont know if its because of the combo update (10.6.6) or the Video card itself.

I did everything on this post.

First of all, after the update to 10.6.6, i've lost the USB, Audio and networking functions. Ok, with Multibeast i fixed everything, no problem. The Graphic Card is detected on the system profiler... but the performance its just... , it has even worst performance that the 8400GS...

The OS itself has a lot of lag, i can use the max resolution of my monitor but its worthless... because everything, even Youtube videos looks really slow...

The worst part is when i try something like a game, or something that needs to switch screen resolution: It will never come back. The screen is going to be black, sometimes blue, but its not gonna work.

... bottom line, there's nothing else to do i guess, the Card is still not fully supported on OS X, isnt?, or there's something i can do?.

Thank you.

Nah nevermind, i just got an GTS 250 that JUST works xD... Thanks anyway :D.
