Nvidia/ATI Professional Cards support-Mav 10.9.2 issue??

Hi I am running a Nvidia Quadro 4000 card and it seems to run native. never had any trouble with it until Mav 10.9.2

I can be working on the computer and the computer just goes blank and the green light on the card turns red and the fan goes ballistic -then I have to restart and sometimes at boot it go crazy again then sometimes its stable.

Any one had this similar experience?

Also is OSX supporting the ATI workstation graphics cards like the FirePro w7000?

My build is a GIGABYTE GA-Z77M-D3H LGA 1155 Intel

4770K processor
Nvidia Quadro 4000 card
32g corsair dominator platinum memory
