not working express card end card reader

I have the following system:
HP ProBook 4530s-
-i5 2450
-atheros WIFI
JMicron-Express card
-JMicron card reader
......
ML-system software 10.8.2
SMbios-macbookpro 8.2

All works perfectly less card reader and ExpressCard
* Anyone can help me with an idea.

Card reader works if you use a recognized SD card. Not all memory cards are supported by the Mac Jmicron driver.

ExpressCard slot depends on having drivers for the device you're using in it. There are reports of people getting it to work...

Is there any more info on this. I would like to add firewire to my hackintosh and a express slot to FW looks like it is it.

Does anyone have drivers for making the slot work?

Do a search. There are people who have used the expresscard slot for firewire...

Drivers are generally produced by the manufacturer of the expresscard you end up purchasing...

Oh... ExpressCard slot works, but of course, depends on having OS X drivers for the device you have inserted into that slot.
