Not greeted with Disk Utility

Does anyone know why second attempt to install El Capitan (on main HD) does not show the Disk Utility windows right after USB boot? I mean this one:



I see directly this screen:


Is something wrong with my Install media ? Should I worry ? No changes to the USB were made between installations.

I got that too. Did yours auto-reboot shortly after starting to install the first time?

First time when I got disk utility it looked like it copied files to HDD, reboot, and then install from HDD.

Now it appears that is doing straight install to HDD.

Me too! I too encountered this! But the second attempt, this installation is faster compared to the first attempt! I thought theres something wrong with my installer because on the first attempt, after installation, clover shows up nothing. It doesn't have the drive/partition i installed on. So i thought maybe the files in the thumb drive corrupted or something so i erased and made a new usb bootable!
