NootRX

No idea why your system would fail to complete the benchmark test in Topaz software, as it worked perfectly well in my AMD X570/R9 3900X/RX 6700 XT system. If the test was likely to fail I would have expected it to happen on my AMD system.

I doubt your PSU is the cause of the benchmark test failure.

Is there any logs for case like that? So can I check if it is a software or hardware problem?
EDIT: Oky it also happen on Windwos :banghead: Maybe need to check bios but as I can see i can't set CPU PL - cant choose something - maybe need to check with other PSU

The Topaz Video AI application has an option for reading and recording logs. See the screenshot below.

I don't know of any OS logs that would help in your case. The App logs are your best bet to see what caused the benchmark test to fail.

Select the Open Log Folder option and use TextEdit app to open the log files.

An good first step for searching reason of the reset / fail with Topaz can be first to have an eye on the TEMP of the AMD 6950 XT GPU. Theoretical the gpu should trottle down clk before overheats but ....
The is an Radeon Gadget , Radeon Sensor which shows the temp while running such heavy load gpu tasks.
https://github.com/ChefKissInc/RadeonSensor

And i would also check first other gpu/systembenches running windows before i would change PSU ...
PS: Also check the OC/Clover part if you perhaps inject powerplaytables for the gpu .
Running OS X it is only available to do some undervolting AND changing fan speeds (and enable /disable ZERO FAN)
maybe something wrong with that .. too mich undervolting OR GPU FANS should work earlier, with more speed- try boot without PPT table injects.

If GPU heat is the reason , some more airflow in (faster case fan speed, more , bigger case fans) the PC Case would be enough - or disable ZERO FAN plus little more FAN Speed by PPT inject :)

Benchmark pass now - it was the PSU - I got now a NZXT 1200 Watt and it works. I recored the whole benchmark and at some point the GPU took 477 Watt - So i think these peaks where tu much for the 1050W PSU or there or other stuff not correct in the psu.

Hi, i follow this tread because i will upgrade my RX 5600 XT to an RX 6650 XT or RX 6700 XT (DRM not needed).

I often use video tools which use the GPU for some tasks beside dec(/enc.

One Bench is the Neatvideo Bench (the company produces plugins):

https://www.neatvideo.com/download/neatbench

Its a terminal app.

I got this results with my older RX 570 and old i7-7700 CPU:
CPU Model: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7700 CPU @ 3.60GHz
GPU 1: AMD Radeon RX 570 (Metal): 4096 MB total, using up to 100%
CPU only (1 core): 3.17 frames/sec
....
CPU only (4 cores): 9.53 frames/sec
....
CPU only (8 cores): 6.89 frames/sec
GPU only (AMD Radeon RX 570): 15.2 frames/sec
...
CPU (5 cores) and GPU (AMD Radeon RX 570): 15.7 frames/sec
....

Now with i5-12400F and RX 5600XT an boost.. 25,9 FPS GPU only

Has someone with 6600/6650 XT / 6700 XT some results (gpu only)?

Also interersting were the Bench Values of the Topat VideoAI Video enhancer/upscaler app.
https://www.topazlabs.com/downloads (VideoAI, right side..)

The app has an buildin Benchmark: Menue / Process / Benchmark
Takes a few minutes..

would bei fine to see some RX 6600/6650XT and RX 6700XT values.
Perhaps someone want to see RX 580 results. RX 5600XT are much better than RX 580 in Topas bench, but not so much in NeatBench?

Seems RX 5600XT are about 60-65 percent better than RX 580

Your scores seems not as expected for the 6950XT
Are you using "Silent Bios" mode?

Yep, 6950XT fps VVAI are a bit low compared with the 6800XT.
But maybe the PCIe Speed in his older Mainboard is not PCIe4?
Also older highend CPU/DDR4 vs new highend CPU /DDR5 6000! has an effect why the 6950XT cant show her real power?
You can try to check PCIe Speed (beside VRAM Speed + GFLOPS) with my GPU_Bench app.

Here my RX 5600XT , MB B660 (PCIe4 Slot) values:

EDIT: app codesigned
