Noob question on thunderbolt and displays

Hello,

I am considering getting a mobo with TB (such as the GA-Z77MX-D3H TH). I have an apple TB display I would use with it. Now, does it mean the TB display will only use the integrated graphics GPU from the mobo, or would it also take advantage of the eventual nVidia card I intall in the system?
And if not, is there a suitable, decent performing GC I could use with my display?

IIRC I think I read somewhere there is no way to pass the discrete graphics card signal thru the TB port on a hackintosh, so you will be restricted to the onboard CPU graphics.

That's really disappointing. I guess I'll either sell the display, or wait until a graphics card comes out with TB ports.
