I am also looking for a solution. I have various disto DVD to boot. All stop at some where.

Mine is Latitude E4310 with screen resolution 1600x900. Harddisk set yo use IRRT.

My previous attempt in my old Latitude D430 is successful for both snow leopard and lion. I follow the osxlatitude.com instruction.

I have tried to boot a preinstalled OSX drive to boot from USB boot of E4310 but it failed

I have made an interesting progress. Now I am able to install a 10.6 Snow Leopard using iBoot 3.3 CD. GUI comes up with sound, wired ethernet and trackpoint. GUI is just very basic.

I am not sure how to proceed as I tried multibeast but not able to boot again.


Any suggestion?
