No TrackPad! 4540s 10.8.5

4540s i5 ivyBridge
10.8.5 via unibeast2.1.1, probook installer 6.1.6
with the exception of the track pad, and the wifi, everything else seems to work fine
did I miss something in the Probook installer?? I did a 4540s i3 Sandy a month ago, and all was smooth sailing, trackpad worked right from the start.
and suggestions would be appreciated

Try EC reset: shutdown, remove battery, remove AC adapter, hold power button 30 sec, put everything back & restart the computer.

You might also want to repair permissions (Disk Utility), and rebuild cache (Kext Wizard).
