No System Disk

Trying to install El Capitan. Have a USB uni-beast with El Capitan. Set BIOS to boot USB and ACHI . I have a Crucial 240 GB SSD with Linux Mint Serena on it that I want to use for OS X. Boot with USB and go through the screens until "Install OS X on Disk" and it only shows Uni-Beast and when I click on it, says not enough room to install. It is an 8GB Drive. What am I doing wrong?

You must format the drive before you can use it for the installation.
